About Emma

Emma Hunt Ouimette grew up in a small mountain town called Vail, Colorado, where snow days were a lifestyle and weekends meant training, competing, or chasing powder. She spent her younger years competing nationally in SnowboardX and halfpipe, learning early how to commit, fall hard, and get back up smiling.

Creativity runs just as deep. Inspired by her grandmother—a renowned artist in Pittsburgh, PA—Emma grew up surrounded by art, music, and culture. That influence led her to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she started as a creative writing intern before finding her voice in news editorial journalism. Storytelling stuck.

During college, Emma lived at the crossroads of media and action sports, working with Transworld Business Magazine and in sales roles for Roxy, Quiksilver, and DC Shoes—where brand, culture, and community all collided in the best way.

Her career since has zig-zagged (intentionally) through snowboards, fashion, wholesale, and operations—from Burton Snowboards and Aviator Nation to Christian Dior Couture, and eventually into the business engine of the outdoor industry. In her last role, she managed multi-million-dollar dealer accounts at Elevate Outdoor Collective (K2 Sports), helping 12 outdoor brands stay organized, on track, and human.

Now based in the Pacific Northwest, Emma blends sales ops savvy, creative instincts, and mountain-town grit. She still teaches and coaches snowboarding, mentors youth, and believes the best brands scale with heart—not ego.

If it involves snow, systems, culture, or a good story, she’s probably into it.
